What we do

playing table tennis

It's all in the name! It is very relaxed and you can play 11 up or 21 up depending on how energetic you feel. Even if you have not played since you were a teenager come and try, it is great fun, and good exercise.

We are a very lively group of 16 plus members who meet and enjoy some hectic exercise and enjoyable company. Why not join us? You will be made very welcome.

Reports

October 2011

The group continues to enjoy many energetic, competitive, but above all friendly games of table tennis.

There have been a number of new members joining the group over the past few weeks, which is always good to see. There is however room for further members to join us, so if it is a little exercise, fun and friendship you want, then we would love to see you.

Martin Peat has now agreed to act as deputy co-ordinator whose help is much appreciated.

Plans are underway in regards to the annual Christmas Challenge Trophy match with Grange & District U3A, which members may recall we won last year by one match!

Our last game of the year will be on the 21st December and re opening again in the New Year on the 4th January.

June 2011

The group continues to enjoy many energetic, competitive, but above all friendly games of table tennis. Numbers have dwindled over the approaching summer months and so it would be good to see some new members as well as re establishing contact with previous ones.

A very special thank you to Martin Peat without whose help in setting up the weekly sessions we would not have survived.

We will be closing for the summer on the 20th July and re opening again on the 7th September.
