What we do

picture of the ramblers

We enjoy rambles of about 8 or 9 miles, including a few hills, which are planned and led by volunteer members of our group. The walks reflect the varying preferences for scenery, terrain etc. We share a love and knowledge of our countryside, fresh air, good exercise and friendly conversation (if we've any breath left!).

Last year we had an average of sixteen members on each walk.

We propose a total of 16 walks during 2008, with details of each walk distributed to regular members in advance.

We encourage car sharing for journeys to the starting points, where possible, particularly due to restricted parking spaces in some areas.
