This group will cover the entire range of jazz styles, from New Orleans
up to the present time. To get the group started, Dave will present the
first three sessions. Hopefully others will subsequently present their own
topics.
October: Requests. Browse the host's record collection and/or suggest
music to play.
November: "Jazz is all the same". Dave will blast this hoary old myth out
of the water!
December: a light-hearted quiz, not necessarily Christmas-related.
We will start out at Dave's home. If numbers get too big, we will move to
a more roomy venue. Initially, I will limit numbers to 12 (that's how many chairs I can muster!).

The new Jazz Appreciation Group met for the first time in October, with 6 people enjoying a convivial afternoon with a wide range of music being heard.
Due to popular demand we now meet on a Tuesday rather than a Thursday.
