What we do
We meet to enjoy playing the old card game of cribbage. Beginners or experienced players are welcome to join us.

Our fortnightly meetings will continue throughout the Winter. The group is still open to any U3A member who would like to start playing.

The Group continues to be well supported with an average fortnightly attendance of 12 players from a core group of 20 registered members. Although the scoring system may seem rather complicated at first sight, once mastered, our members all agree that it results in some very entertaining playing sessions.

Whether it is down to our move to the YWCA Centre, enthusiastic recruiting at the September coffee morning, or simply a revival of interest in the game, we have seen a dramatic turnround in the fortunes of the Cribbage Group since the end of August. Membership has doubled; the meeting on September 22nd saw a record attendance of 17 players and, with enquiries still coming in, we are looking forward to a high scoring future.
