This is a continuation of the Bridge Beginners Group that started last year.
There is no beginners' group this year, but anybody interested in learning should contact Phillip Wraight.
March 2011
The Group is enjoying a weekly lesson from Philip followed by playing set hands of bridge when an average of 20 people are attending. The classes will close on 26h July and hopefully members will then resume in September with Bridge on a Friday afternoon.
It hasn't been decided as yet whether a new Bridge for Beginners class will begin in September. See next Newsletter for more details.

Our numbers have increased with a regular attendance of approximately 24 members each week.

A very successful year has been enjoyed by a lively group of players under the watchful eye of Philip Wraight. They are all very keen and attendance has been regular. The Group will close for the summer months but will restart for the second year's tuition on 7th September.
