What we do
A summer painting outing
Members work on their own projects, using whichever media they are most comfortable with, be it watercolour, oils, acrylic or pastel.

A few of our members still meet fortnightly and are enjoying summer (!) outings. We have recently made a return visit to Brantwood. Future outings are to Sizergh Castle and The Lakes Artists Exhibition at Grasmere.

During the summer break the group will continue to meet. In July a visit to Brantwood is planned plus one other. In August we will be going to Grasmere to the Lake Artists Exhibition, plus one other visit. The venues for our ‘other visits’ are yet to be decided by the group.

Our group continues to meet fortnightly at Abbot Hall Social Centre, and we have a very interesting mix of styles and subject matter. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome awaits any new member who comes along.
