What we do
A summer painting outing
Members work on their own projects, using whichever media they are most comfortable with, be it watercolour, oils, acrylic or pastel.
Help is available when needed.

We have increased our summer outings this year to include Levens Hall, Brantwood, Grasmere, Rydal Hall, and possibly Hawkshead and Kirkby Lonsdale. Our first indoor meeting will not be until 18th September as the centre is closed for refurbishment.

We meet fortnightly from 1st May to 26th June. Once again several outings are planned during July and August. Then our first meeting in the autumn will be on 18th September due to the centre being closed for refurbishment.

A few of our members still meet fortnightly and are enjoying summer (!) outings. We have recently made a return visit to Brantwood. Future outings are to Sizergh Castle and The Lakes Artists Exhibition at Grasmere.

During the summer break the group will continue to meet. In July a visit to Brantwood is planned plus one other. In August we will be going to Grasmere to the Lake Artists Exhibition, plus one other visit. The venues for our ‘other visits’ are yet to be decided by the group.
